Centenarian Recognition

Palatine Township honors our Centenarians>  people who have lived for 100 or more years

Our Township Board, under the direction of Clerk Lisa Moran, would like the opportunity to honor our Township’s Centenarians in a special way.    Once we have received the completed application and photos, each Centenarian is invited and encouraged to attend a special presentation in their honor at a Township Board Meeting.  The Presentation will include:

– a special Township Resolution passed by the Board honoring them, and presented to them; a slideshow of their life with brief bio and pictures;

– their respective mayor will also attend (schedule permitting) and honor them with a Certificate of Recognition from their Village/Town/City

– commemorative cake and coffee will be served afterwards and enjoyed with the Board and any invited family/guests

After the Presentation evening, an article in the Township newsletter and social media posts to follow (after signed photo release) ; and keepsake photos sent to family

Please complete the application and email to:   Brad Strassburger at bstrassburger@palatinetownship-il.gov

*IF THE CENTENARIAN IS UNABLE TO ATTEND A FULL EVENING PRESENTATION, CLERK MORAN CAN SET UP A SIMPLE PRIVATE DAYTIME RESOLUTION PRESENTATION
