It has been a great privilege to be a life-long resident of Palatine Township. To be newly elected Trustee is a great honor that I receive with enormous appreciation and great humility.
In the private sector, I am part-owner, with my father, George, of the Chicago Prime Steakhouse and the Chicago Prime Italian restaurants, both in Schaumburg. I am also a realtor and managing broker of Chicago Prime Realty & Development Corp, a boutique realty firm.
Serving my community includes several years on the Foundation Board at Harper Community College as well as Board Chairman of the state and locally funded Meet Chicago Northwest Convention & Tourism Bureau. When everyone else seems to be running for the hills in public service, this is precisely the time to dig in with a practical, business-like approach to managing public funds with transparency and a service heart.
As a tax-payer advocate, I will apply my experience in the private sector to my work as your Trustee. As the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee and Vice-Chair of the Insurance Committee, my pledge of service will include strength in collaboration and uncompromising efforts to advance the Township goals.
I maintain sanity at home with a beautiful and loving wife, Katey and two little angels George & Maggie-Grace. Hobbies include my work in film and TV as a SAG/AFTRA performer, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, a food & wine enthusiast, including Level 1-Court of Master Sommeliers.
Thank you for your support! I encourage anyone interested in local issues to reach out to me and get involved.
The four Trustees have authority and responsibility when acting with the Supervisor as the five member Township Board. The Board is the legislative arm of the Township setting policies, practices, and procedures for the Township Supervisor to administer. Board responsibilities include auditing Township bills, attending to annual budgeting and levy responsibilities, spending Township funds, compensating Township officers, appointing the fire protection district trustees and many other functions.
